Information We Collect
When you use a WordPress customer account, we keep account identifiers, your name and contact details, and information needed to sign you in and manage your account. Passwords are handled by WordPress in protected form.
When you book through Amelia, we collect your name, email address, phone number, selected service, appointment date and time, provider, booking status, and details you choose to provide for the appointment. Amelia also maintains customer profiles and booking history.
The Formidable contact form collects your name, email address, phone number, and message. The physical gift-card form collects purchaser and, where provided, recipient details, selected amount and delivery method, and a mailing address when you choose mail delivery.
Payment and order records can include the amount, payment status, transaction reference, and information needed to connect a payment with a booking or gift-card order.
How We Use Information
We use this information to manage accounts, answer questions, schedule and provide lessons, fittings, and simulator rentals, process gift-card orders and mailing, handle payments and refunds, and maintain business records.
We also use technical information to keep the website working, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, and investigate misuse.
Service Providers and Payments
Service providers process information as needed to operate this website and its services. WordPress, Amelia, and Formidable run the account, booking, and form features. Cloudways hosts the website and may process server and security logs.
PayPal processes online payments. The gift-card checkout also loads Apple Pay and Google Pay payment scripts. Depending on your chosen method, PayPal or the wallet provider handles payment credentials. We receive transaction and order details needed to confirm, reconcile, and support the purchase.
WordPress email is configured with WP Mail SMTP and Elastic Email, which may process recipient addresses and message content when messages are delivered.
Bookings and Calendar Sync
Amelia uses booking details to manage appointments and customer profiles. Appointment service and schedule information may be synchronized with connected staff Google Calendars so staff can manage availability. The current configuration does not add customers as calendar attendees or send Google event invitations.
Cookies, Logs, and Analytics
WordPress and the booking and payment features may use cookies or similar browser storage for sign-in, sessions, preferences, security, and completing a transaction. You can control cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect account or booking features.
The website and its hosting and security systems may log IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, dates and times, error details, and similar technical information. No Google Analytics or Google Site Kit measurement was active on this replacement site when this policy was revised.
Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and HTTPS, to protect information. No website or transmission method is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and payment records, resolve issues, protect the website, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We then delete or de-identify information when appropriate; backup copies may remain for a limited period.
Your Choices and Requests
You can contact us to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion. We will review requests and may need to retain records required for transactions, security, or other legitimate obligations. You can also manage available account details through your customer account.
